@ the Table: Disability Arts Feast

@ the Table: Disability Arts Feast is being put on by the community, for the community, and is centered around access and connection. The festival will feature an array of local creatives including live workshops and discussions with featured artists Alison Berglom Johnson, Gabriel Roderick, Thabiso Rowan, and Pierre Young. The mission of this project was to collaborate widely and provide inclusive opportunities in online spaces that typically exclude many Minnesotans. Festival attendees will have opportunities to not only listen in, but also participate in interactive events focused on skills-sharing, art, and the politics of living with disabilities. These events will occur online via Zoom from Friday July 16th through Sunday July 18th. Each event will have live captioning and ASL interpretation provided by MNCDHH. Other accommodations may be provided upon request.

The festival is made possible by a partnership with the Minnesota Council on Disability, and by input from community organizations such as SPNN, Dreamland Theater, Springboard for the Arts, the Walker Arts Center,  Minnesota Special Services, and others. Audiences are highly encouraged to contact the team with accommodations requests, inquiries, and art submissions. For more information, a detailed schedule of events, and a link to the submissions form, please visit the festival website at atthetablearts.org
