The 2019-20 CTEP Civic Engagement Projects

Every year, CTEP requires all AmeriCorps Members to participate in a 75-hour civic engagement group project intended to build capacity and remove barriers to digital inclusion. CTEP uses an internationally recognized curriculum from the Public Achievement program of the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Working in a small group, each CTEP Member creates an action plan that addresses a local technology need during their first three months of service. The project is implemented during the next eight months, culminating with a community presentation. Just a few past project examples include the creation of computer fix-it clinics for low-income families and specialized digital literacy training for ex-offenders.

The 2019-20 Presentations will be presented via a Zoom video conference on Friday, July 31st, from 9:30am to 12 pm.
