Does your organization need a public service announcement?

Partner PSAs
As a service to the community and to our partners, SPNN periodically produces public service announcements for use on our channels and partner websites. These announcements can serve to raise awareness of an organization's work or of a specific event.  The PSAs are taped at the SPNN studio in St. Paul and are produced at no cost to the organizations. Opportunities are limited and the psas must conform to a specific format.

A tribute to Kwame McDonald

Kwame McDonald passed away yesterday. I was saddened by the news, but like so many people in Saint Paul and Minnesota, I won’t forget his legacy at SPNN. It was impossible not to be moved by this man. He was so passionate for his people, so driven to get rid of injustices, so radical in his vision of bettering the lives of others and empowering poor people, so skilled at educating young and old, and so able to touch minds and hearts.

New Voting Method in Saint Paul

In 2009, Saint Paul voters chose the Ranked Voting method to elect the mayor and members of the city council. Starting this year on Election Day, November 8, voters will be able to rank up to six different city candidates in order of preference.

The Saint Paul School Board will continue to use the traditional voting method.  The school board races will be located on the other side of the ballot. You may vote for up to four school board candidates.
