2010 TCYMN All City Youth Film Showcase

This year two SPNN Youth pieces are included in the TCYMN All City Youth Film Showcase. Karheem Kirk's "The Future of the East Side," and  Angie Raschio's "Eclipse in Progress."

Established in 2005, the All City Youth Film Showcase selects youth short video and film works from across Minnesota. Youth curators with experience making media are brought together to determine the showcase line up and festival details. The 2010 Showcase is Saturday, December 4th at 1 PM at the Walker Art Center Cinema. The event is free and open to the public. We hope you can make it.
In "The Future of the East Side," Karheem explores how he was affected by gang violence. The segment describes how gang violence has affected the East side of Saint Paul, and touches upon how things might change for the better.

"Eclipse in Progress" tells the story of Eclipse Records in Saint Paul and its role in the community as a place that supports both local music and youth.

The TCYMN All City Youth Film Showcase will be held Saturday, December 4th from 1-3pm at the Walker Art Center Cinema.

We hope you'll come out to support Karheem, Angie and all the other youth filmmakers included in the screening.
