Member Profile: Malcom Moody documents Twin Cities hip-hop

Malcom Moody has been influenced by the hip-hop world since his childhood in New York City. When he moved to Minnesota in the 90’s, he became involved in the local scene as a fan, a performer, and a sound engineer. When his own record was set to be released last year , he began taking classes at SPNN and gathering footage for himself.

Advance Your Editing

You've been working on you program for a while now.  You've been able to put in titles and effects but would like more control over editing sound or maybe you want to use more unique titles.  Maybe you've out grown iMovie and need to move to Final Cut Express.  We're offering a class on Final Cut Express on November 22nd at 6PM.  This is a four hour class that walks you through the basics of using this more advanced software.

Visiting the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC, seeing the pictures and artifacts, and hearing the voice of survivors is one of the most emotional experiences I’ve ever had.  Projects like Voices of the Holocaust and Minnesota’s Greatest Generation Project seek to preserve the stories of a generation before they are lost forever.

September 2008, the Republican National Convention was in town, there were activist, police, and news media everywhere.  It’s a scene most of us who lived or worked in downtown St. Paul during the convention won’t soon forget.
