CTEP "End of Year" Celebration
CTEP Staff, Members, and Supervisors gathered at Newell Park in Saint Paul on Friday, August 17th 2012 from 11am to 1pm for our "End of Year" Celebration. This is a great time of year to come together and share the impact and value of CTEP members across the Metro area.
CTEP members will be finishing the 2011-2012 service year on Friday, August 31st . Successful members serve 1720 hours in the community at 28 partner sites. This will be the third year that CTEP has had 100% complete of all members of their service hours. We have a 100% retention rate as well, which means that all members recruited at the beginning of the year were retained throughout the service year.
At our “End of Year” Celebration, Supervisors are invited to publically recognize the impact their member has had over the course of their service year. Recognition included a poem created by Doris Wahl, supervisor at Saint Paul Public Libraries-Central, to recognize the great service provided by their member, Jill Nerka. Jill will be returning for a second year of service with CTEP at Central for the 2012-2013 service year! Joining Jill will be 7 other CTEP members, with a total of 8 returning CTEP members for 2012-2013 service year. This is the highest number returning members CTEP has ever had!
Congratulations to the 2011-2012 CTEP Members and Partners on a successful year of service! We are grateful for your service, especially our departing six members who have served not one, but two years, with CTEP. We are so sad to see you leave, but we know you will continue to do great work wherever your careers take you. Thank you for your continued support and passion for digital literacy in our community!
