TV is changing and we need to keep up
In the typical family room there used to be a television, than the gaming counsel and the computer were added. Now they are becoming interchangeable. People don’t sit down to watch television the same way anymore and you need to keep up.
Cable companies now have on demand services and televisions now have WiFi connections and SDI inputs for your computer. You can now surf YouTube, Hulu or other media sites and watch the content on your television. This means you can watch what you want when you want and you don’t have to watch it on a tiny screen.
Xbox was just a gaming counsel but is now getting into delivering content as well. Under the newest update users can watch a variety of streaming content and access a media library. Apple is also getting into the game with the release of its own brand of television next year. The future is here and television will never be the same.
What does this mean for you, the producer? You need to make sure you are not only sharing your program with the St Paul community via SPNN’s channels you need to be uploading it to the web as well. The benefit of cable is you can easily tell people where and when they can find your show. On the web your program could get lost in the vast amount of programming that is out there. SPNN is trying to make that easier.
You can now share your program on our website too! If you are interested please contact us.
