Get Paid to Create Art through ArtWork

Want to get paid to create art this summer? Check out this opportunity from ArtsWork, a program through Canvas:
ArtsWork is a program that employs youth ages 14 to 21 to work with professional artists over
the summer. For 2011, jobs will run for eight weeks and pay is $7.25 per hour. ArtsWork is for
people with talent and skill in the arts, as well as those who are willing to work hard and learn.
For 2011, ArtsWork will be hiring for these art forms:
There will be ten (10) openings at each of these these two sites:
Theater Production with Zaraawar Mistry, located at Dreamland Arts, Hamline Ave, St. Paul.
Mosaic Art with Sharra Frank will be held in Minneapolis and the location is yet to be
determined

Art Bikes with Jan Elftmann will be located at or around the Sibley Bike Depot on University
Avenue near Dale Street in St. Paul. Art Bikes positions can be filled only by youth
accepted into the City of St. Paul Youth Job Corps.
Canvas Arts Center Outdoor Public Art Design and Installation with Roger Cummings will
be held at the Hancock Recreation Center/The Canvas Youth Arts Recreation Center, at
Snelling and Hubbard Ave in St. Paul. Public Art positions can be filled only by youth
accepted into the City of St. Paul Youth Job Corps or Minneapolis Step-Up.
