Sara Torres, Set It Up Assistant Coordinator

Hello SPNN Youth readers!

My name is Sara Torres and I am one of the new AmeriCorps CTEP members, serving as the Set It Up Assistant Coordinator.  Originally from Vermont, I grew up moving around to different countries and eventually ended up at Macalester College here in St. Paul, which is where my interest in media developed.  During my senior year at Macalester I worked as an intern at SPNN with the Access Department and the Neighborhood Video Project.  After graduating, I decided to continue my time at SPNN as an AmeriCorps CTEP member; I look forward to the year and getting more involved with the Twin Cities youth and media.  In my spare time I enjoy traveling, exploring the Twin Cities, going to concerts, baking, and watching movies.
